When I was a kid, I didn’t spend my Saturday mornings watching cartoons or other programs aimed at kids and teens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a matter of fact, I\u2019d dare not turn the tv on before completing chores in and around the home.\u00a0 One Saturday morning, I snuck and turned the tv on while turning the volume down so my mother could not hear it. While channel surfing, I came across a show called \u201cWhere in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?\u201d This children’s game show really piqued my interest. Throughout the game, participants’ knowledge of geography was put to the test in order to capture Carmen Sandiego, the fugitive. Needless to say, on this particular Saturday, my mother caught me watching tv instead of completing my chores. Me being me, I pleaded my case with my mother as if I was the famed tv defense lawyer character \u201cPerry Mason\u201d himself would. To my surprise, my mother, a \u201cJudge Judy\u201d in her own rights, ruled in my favor. From then on, my mother allowed me to watch the game show \u201cWhere in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?\u201d because, in her words, it was \u201ceducational.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the theme song came on for the show, I would sing along but replace Carmen Sandiego\u2019s name with mine. Even though Carmen Sandiego was a con artist, I liked to imagine that I, too, would jet across the globe in style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Watching “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?” as a kid undoubtedly boosted my brainpower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, it activated my faith and prompted me to envision myself traveling around the world to and from various continents, countries, states, and cities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, I encourage you to fuel your faith so that your foresight becomes capable of penetrating your distant future. For truly, things come to be through the realm of child-like faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**I think my Momma enjoyed watching the game show just as much as I did**<\/p>\n\n\n\n
